Movin' On Up!

Today is our last day in Xian. We are moving on to Guangzhou this evening to complete the American portion of our adoption. First we will visit the Starfish Foster Home home here in Xian and then have some lunch at Pizza Hut before heading to the airport. I want to say that we have treasured our time here in Xian...it is the closest thing to a hometown Lily will ever have. We have seen many interesting things and met many AMAZING people. We cannot say enough about the staff here at the Sheraton. They have been super with both Lily and Sophie. The chinese people are very kind and gracious, except the crabby old lady at the Muslim Market.

We look forward to the next chapter of our story and hope you do, too!

I am glad you could go to the market. I love markets. Tell me how to post a photo! Neat little creatures you bought the girls. Lily's smile is beautiful. Has she picked up more English yet?
Have fun. The bus driver (me) must get ready for the bus to start the morning route!
LOL

Time for school and I am on the internet. Today is spring picture day its all about the money. The 2nd grade program has been moved up to March 10th. Music teacher is going to have back surgery. Two more days left of the book fair does Sophie have any special request if not I will do my best to pick her and Lily a good book. Sophie and Lily look like they are having a great time even if they don't understand what each other are saying. Hopefully Lily is picking up on English and you guys on Chinese. We are looking forward to the next chapter of this great adventure. You guys have lots of family and friends pulling for you. Safe travels and good luck with your final paper work.

Love and Blessings
Stephanie

Thanks so much for the updates. We feel like we're tagging along with you.

Tonight we were looking at the new pics and Grace points at Lily and says " she's Chinese just like me!"

She also says to tell Sophie she loves her.

10:00pm Tuesday night I checked on Fletcher on my way home from bible study about 9:30 and he gave me an ear full. He was purring and meowing and meowing and purring. But all he wanted was a little attention and food. He is a really sweet cat. I tried to tell him to enjoy the quitness while he could. Because come Saturday their would be two chatter boxes in house, one in English and one in Chinese. They are calling for snow tonight so it may be white in the morning. You guys are own our prayer list at bible study and each week I give them an update and show pictures. Take care and I will talk you tomorrow.

Love, Stephanie
