Deborah I expect that you are taking notes on how to cook Chinese food! I am glad to hear that you all are still having fun. The new pictures were great. We'll make a scrapebook of your trip. How wonderful it is to see Lily smiling and what a beautiful one it is. I know we only see the smiling pictuers and tough times are still ahead but you and Pete are great parents and special people. There are not many people who would adopt a five year old that speaks no English. I would agree with gl you are a great story teller. I love reading your updates. It sounds like you all are learning alot about the Chinese culture like Wal-Mart and McDonalds. There are several books at the book fair on China and speaking Mandarin. Sophie is going to have a lot to tell her friends. I know she is going to make a GREAT big sister. Have fun, enjoy touring, limit Lily's sugar intake, buy all the cheap stuff you can and keep on learning to speak Chinese.

Love,
Steph

Hey everybody!! The terracota warriors look so COOL!!!! We wish we were there with you guys. Tell us what the chinese "Big Mac" tastes like. (Be careful of the special Sauce! Ha,Ha!!!) Soup is on the menu here, Sarah had her wisdom teeth pulled today, plus 2 extra for her braces. But she is doing pretty well. You guys stay safe, and keep on posting. Love, MTSK (plus another T for Tucker.)

From your Dad; Thank you for the blog and photos, all our work friends think they are wonderful, several are following along with you! Lily has a great smile, I can see the gradual change as she draws closer to her forever family. Sophie looks happy, how does she like the food?
From Gail: we love the travel update and the stories about the girls-
